I stumbled into a recruiting career and never looked back, I have met so many amazing people on this journey. Due to my curious nature I love being able to help people make transitions when it comes to their careers.
Recruitment is a sort of puzzle: everyone contributes a piece to the whole and I love being the person who puts all those pieces together. When it comes to job seekers, I am genuine, transparent and truly care about their career aspirations. With my hiring managers, I believe that teamwork is the best approach to successfully bringing in the best talent. I’ve made some lifelong relationships with both of these parties, which I credit to my comfortable approach throughout the talent acquisition process.
Recruiting on some levels is starting to loose it’s human touch with all the technology today, so I like to think that by being a people person who still likes to engage with candidates & hiring managers to chat or in person and that I’m leaving a little bit of my legacy behind in this crazy world of recruiting.
Experience
As far as industry experience, I have worked in Advertising/Digital Media, online media, Start ups, Retail, Consumer Products, High Tech, Life Sciences and Government. I’m well versed in sourcing strategies and a solid recruiter. I’m both a technical and non-technical recruiter, supporting G&A functions, Product Design/Product Management, Engineering and Sales.
My other passion is career coaching & being a trainer as I spent a couple of years in the outplacement industry and found it to be very rewarding.
