Injury doesn’t have to define you. You can come back stronger, more fit. Do the things you want to do.
But take this example here. In October of 2023 you can a drastic decline in VO2max after a shopping cart hit my heel so hard it caused a stress reaction. Flash forward a few months, and my fitness has been sustained even higher than it was before injury!
Don’t let injury define you. It’s temporary. and move past it!
VO2 max measures your cardiovascular fitness. The iPhone and Apple Watch use their data points to estimate VO2max. The only way to get an accurate reading is on a treadmill with a lot of equipment.
