Walnut Hills Independent Living residents enjoyed a recent Coffee Break that was both delicious and informative! ☕💚

Along with tasty pastries and hot coffee, residents were treated to valuable insights about managing arthritis from special guest Emily Frank, Wellness Program Manager for HTS (Healthcare Therapy Services).

Emily shared helpful tips on lifestyle and wellness changes, exercise, nutrition, and alternative management options for arthritis—providing practical ways residents can support their health and improve daily comfort. She also highlighted how Walnut Hills’ Therapy Team is here to help residents every step of the way. 💪

Events like these are a wonderful example of how Walnut Hills combines community, wellness, and education to help residents live healthier, fuller lives.

Last week, Walnut Hills was honored to host the May membership meeting of the Walnut Creek Community Association! 💚☕

Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by our talented culinary team before settling in for a truly special and inspiring panel discussion featuring some of Walnut Creek’s remarkable business pioneers.

The panel included Levi and Lillis Troyer, founders of Walnut Hills; Jake and Laura Hershberger of Hillcrest Orchard; and Dr. Dan and Mary Miller, principal partners at Dutchman Hospitality. Together, these respected community leaders shared the histories of their businesses, the challenges and successes they faced while building in Walnut Creek, and valuable encouragement for today’s business representatives.

The morning was filled with fascinating stories from the area’s past, meaningful wisdom, and a powerful reminder of the dedication, vision, and hard work that helped shape Walnut Creek into the thriving community it is today. 🌿

Last week, Walnut Hills Independent Living residents enjoyed a wonderful day out in the community—traveling in style to the Ohio Star Theater! 🎭💚

A big thank you to Pioneer Trails and our very own driver, David, for providing safe and comfortable transportation for this special outing.

Residents had the opportunity to enjoy a preview of the inspiring new musical Elijah: Prophet of Fire, followed by a delicious early dinner at Dutch Valley Restaurant. 🎶🍽️

From great entertainment to wonderful food and meaningful time together, it was truly a beautiful day to be out and about enjoying all our community has to offer.

At Walnut Hills, outings like these are just one of the many ways residents stay connected, engaged, and always ready for the next adventure! 💚

Last week, some of our Walnut Hills Independent Living ladies traded Ohio for the beach—at least in their imaginations! 🎨🌅💙

During a recent painting class, residents had a wonderful time creating beautiful beach sunset masterpieces, dreaming of sandy shores and colorful skies along the way.

A special thank you to local artist Freda Graber from the Holmes Center for the Arts for guiding participants step-by-step through painting sand, water, palm trees, and stunning multi-colored sunsets. 🌴🎨

Every participant left with smiles, new artistic skills, and a one-of-a-kind finished painting that was as unique and beautiful as they are.

At Walnut Hills, creative opportunities like these are just one more way our residents stay inspired, connected, and always ready to try something new! 💚
