As we step into a new year, we’re reflecting on the rich and meaningful history of Walnut Hills. What began in the early 1970s with 60 acres of farmland and a small nursing home has grown into the vibrant, welcoming community we know today.

Over the decades, Walnut Hills has expanded its living options, enhanced care services, and continued to grow alongside the residents and families who make this place so special. From independent living neighborhoods to modernized care facilities, every step has been rooted in compassion, connection, and a commitment to serving others.

We’re proud of where we’ve come from — and excited for all that’s still ahead. 💛

We recently gathered at Walnut Hills to celebrate a very special milestone—Cheryl Keim’s retirement 🎉💙

Cheryl has faithfully served our community as a Nurse’s Aide for the past 15 years, caring for residents with compassion and dedication. Many staff members came together to honor her, enjoy a delicious cake, and share memories of her incredible impact.

Cheryl will be deeply missed, but we are so grateful for the years she spent serving our residents and team. We wish her nothing but happiness, health, and joy in this next chapter of retirement.

When you’re ready, we’re here to walk beside your family and help you move forward with reassurance and peace of mind.

What a beautiful time we had at the Independent Living Christmas Social recently!

With a theme of "White Christmas," the social featured delicious refreshments, festive holiday music, fun games, photos near a snowy backdrop, fantastic fellowship, and snowy decor — all in white, blue, and silver.

One highlight was the donut hole Christmas trees created by Paula (Resident Services Coordinator) and Rachael (Administrative Assistant). Other refreshments included blue corn chips and white queso, yogurt covered pretzels, popcorn, Dove chocolates, and hot cocoa with marshmallows.

Special thanks to Belita Stout for the beautiful violin music and to all who helped make the social possible. It was a great way to celebrate the season together.
