First, here’s my story…
When I was growing up I had Osgood-Schlatter's disease, which creates a lot of muscular imbalances.
As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, I was in a car accident at 16 and injured my back.
Would you believe I saw at least TEN different chiropractors?
It felt like I spent my childhood in doctor’s offices.
Some helped, some didn't, and none had the answer to alleviating my pain for more than a day or two.
Then my back started going out.
The muscles would just lock up tight and I couldn’t do a thing. Imagine not being able to bend, sit, move… it was agony.
Yeah, I know I sound like a hard luck case, but it gets worse…
Through a combination of sitting too much from being a desk jockey and walking with improper posture and muscular imbalances that I had developed, my L4 L5 disc finally herniated.
The pain was unreal.
So I went the traditional medical route. I got an MRI, got what I call the, ‘cure-nothing’ Cortizone shot and went to physical therapy.
The shot lasted about two whole weeks (whoopee) and the physical therapist I went to had me doing the WRONG movements which made it even WORSE.
The pain returned with a vengeance.
They offered me surgery, fortunately, I refused.
I rode the op**te train for a while, which was a dark road.
Every night I had to fall asleep laying on an ice pack just to get enough relief to fall asleep.
At 30 years old I was hobbling around like a 90-year-old with a cane. It was terrible.
So I had to go on my own alternative healing path.
I received massage, acupuncture and acupressure. You name it, I tried it.
I spent thousands of dollars without much relief.
I went to at least seven different chiropractors - some helped and some didn't.
I was at my wits end – perhaps you can relate?
Then I came across three things that made a dramatic difference in pain relief and speeding up my recovery.
1. TRUE whole body cryotherapy
2. Infrared sauna
3. Red Light Therapy
Now I'm in the best shape of my life.
My muscles and back are balanced and properly aligned, and if there's an occasional flare-up or injury, all I do is some cryotherapy, a full body red light therapy session, and hit the infrared sauna.
These dramatically helped get rid of the pain and accelerate my recovery.
90% of the time or more I am totally pain free.
The other 10% I might feel a twinge or two, and then I know what to do…
