Have you tried our new 💛YIN💛 classes yet?

Based on the work of Paul Grilley, Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that focuses on the deep connective tissues of the body known as fascia. Healthy, dynamic fascia is crucial for mobility, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Poses are held for extended periods (typically 3-5 minutes) to encourage deeper internal awareness and release of tension while promoting mindfulness and physical ease. Therapy Balls may also be used for self-massage, postural support, and increased internal awareness.

Sounds like the perfect way to hit the RESET button for your body and mind!

MAY MEDITATION: HEART COHERENCE♥️

Meditation is a path to feel more at home within yourself. In this gathering, we will explore techniques to nourish ourselves and access inner resources to help us move through the world with greater ease.

We will use:
•Gentle movement to open the body
•Pranayama to tune our energy
•Mantra to immerse in vibrational radiance
•Guided awareness to embody the experience
•& space for inner exploration

We will complete the evening with self-reflection and connection with one another.

When we meditate as a group, our individual energy weaves together, amplifies, and creates a supportive atmosphere allowing us to deepen into the meditative experience. Whether you’re new to meditation or have a daily Sadhana, this offering welcomes everyone.

🪷Restore and Receive:  A Restorative Yoga Experience Paired With Reiki Healing🪷

In this special class led by , we will ease into relaxation with Restorative Yoga— a floor based asana practice utilizing long yet gentle holds assisted with supportive props. During the practice, Melanie will move around the room and offer reiki healing. Reiki energy is a frequency that helps holistically restore balance and supports our innate healing responses. 

Near the end of the practice in our final posture, we will deepen into a sweet meditative state with a guided Yoga Nidra. 

If you are craving deep relaxation and nourishment, join us to give yourself this opportunity to restore and receive.

We as yoga teachers get asked all the time why it’s helpful to invest in a trustworthy mat. A thick, dense mat keeps joints comfortable during your practice, and a non-slip grip keeps your mind at ease (and downdogs stable!). Meet our NEW PROPS! ✨ We have started introducing 1, 2 and 3-pound weights into some of our classes to further improve strength, focus and restoration. Swipe through these photos to see how these little weights can enhance your experience within your yoga practice:
1. Balance better in navasana (boat pose)
2. Find deeper expansion in a side bend
3. Feel a spaciousness in the heart of a twist
4. Ground in a restful savasana

We encourage students to not think of these weights as a “sculpt” tool, but as a prop in the same way we use and love blocks, straps and bolsters.
