Celebrating life’s milestones together is part of who we are. Yesterday, our team gathered to honor our operations coordinator, Deborah, as she prepares to welcome her baby boy. We’re so happy for her and can’t wait to celebrate this special addition with her family.

We had such a sweet time at our caregiver holiday party yesterday! We hosted it open-house style so caregivers could stop by between shifts, and we even had special guest appearances from clients and kids!

We feasted on Sally’s famous Puerto Rican pork and homemade beans, which were made with so much love. It was super special to sit down, break bread, and share some great laughs with our treasured caregivers.

They are the heart of Uplift Home Care, and we are so thankful for each and every one of them and all they do for the families we serve.

Introducing our Caregiver of the Month: Lupi! Lupi is an absolutely beloved caregiver with more than a decade of experience supporting seniors and hospice clients. Her warm, welcoming smile instantly puts others at ease. Families know her for her patience, reliability, and heartfelt commitment to maintaining each client’s comfort, dignity, and well-being, especially during long overnight shifts.

Outside of caregiving, Lupi is all about pickleball, beach days, movies, and Costco runs. We’re so thankful to have her on the Uplift team!

Meet the dynamic duo behind our hands-on caregiver skills training: Kirsten & Babs!

From safe transfers to bed-bound personal care to mastering the Hoyer lift, these two make sure every caregiver feels confident and prepared to deliver exceptional care.

Huge thank-you to WeCare for AbetterU Medical Supply for the generous donation of our hospital bed and Hoyer lift! Your support helps us keep raising the bar for training and safety.

We are so thankful for the families we serve and the work we get to do at Uplift Home Care, but none of it would be possible without our incredible caregivers! This Thanksgiving, we especially reflect on our gratitude for their hard work and the compassion they share with each person in their care. Thank you to everyone who has entrusted us with your loved ones’ care, and to our amazing care team, today and every day!

We had the best time at our Caregiver Appreciation Lunch today! Caregivers came and went between shifts, and it was so special to sit, talk, laugh, and connect with the incredible team that makes Uplift what it is. We even had one of our clients join us which was such a special treat!

We’re so grateful for every single person on this team. To those who were on shift and couldn’t make it, know that you were missed! We’ll continue doing gatherings like this on different days and times so everyone has a chance to join, and we’ll make sure your goodies get to you soon 😁

We’re proud to share that our Co-Founder and CEO, Adam Bartlett, is now a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP)! This certification reflects Adam’s ongoing dedication to providing exceptional care for seniors and families impacted by dementia. 💙

Honored to have been one of the speakers at this month’s Mt. Diablo Business Women lunch!

My talk, “Passion Makes Pivots Possible,” was all about the non-linear path that brought me from an almond orchard… to corporate boardrooms… stay at home motherhood... to childcare provider… and now to co-founding Uplift Home Care. My journey has been anything but straight but the constant has always been passion. Loving what I was doing at each stage is what ultimately led me here.

MDBW is an amazing community of smart, generous, supportive women who continually lift each other as we grow in business, leadership, and life. Thank you for the chance to share my story 🩷
