My goal is to support you in developing a higher quality of life by paying attention to mental health. I believe we thrive and heal in our relationships. Breakthroughs in therapy are first and foremost the result of the therapist/client relationship. I strive to offer therapy that feels like coffee with a dedicated friend.

Blending wisdom from my own experiences as a peer who has “been there” with clinically based methods, I’ll meet you halfway with reflection, kindness, and honest feedback. No judgement - just healing.

I also offer individual white privilege self work sessions for those seeking to begin a practice of racial self awareness.

I work from an attachment, strength-based perspective as I assist teens, adults, and couples with a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and relationships. Often the story we tell ourselves about the world profoundly impacts how we think, feel, and behave and taking a closer look at these stories can help us heal. I utilize different therapeutic practices including Gottman Couples Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

I also have a passion for working with families adjusting to parenthood and I understand how the different developmental stages of children can affect a couple and family dynamics. I have insight into the unique stressors experienced by military and first responder families and their therapeutic needs. Please send me an email or give me a call if you would like to see if we would be a good fit to work together.

Donn Bradley, AMFT 118163 - Supervised by Elise Braganza, LMFT 90702 has experience working with first responders and complex trauma. Read more below about Donn’s approach to the therapeutic process!
👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

You'll find that I'm not your typical patches-on-the-sleeves, "tell me about your mother" style therapist. After a career as a first responder, I have come in contact with a wide variety of mental health challenges. I have found that my clients appreciate my empathetic and simultaneous no-nonsense and to the point approach. I can help you explore what your challenges have been historically and find new ways to approach the life (and ultimately, the happiness) for which you've been looking.

I am passionate about utilizing my varied experience in order to help people of all ages, couples and families. I have extensive experience in issues like job-related and childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief, as well as parenting and relationship challenges. If you've been to another therapist in the past and perhaps you didn't experience the success for which you were looking, I may be able to help. But I can’t do it without you. You're the expert in your life and experiences, so that means we "sit" differently in the room. And I think you'll find that just may be the difference.

You can reach Donn at (925)322-1695 or email him at TherapywithDonn@gmail.com

My goal is to provide a caring, empathetic, and warm space to everyone, especially people of color, to help empower them through the therapeutic process.

I love dancing, food, and having the opportunity to travel. My favorite artist is Beyonce and one of Beyonce’s classic songs is “Me myself and I”. I use the song to help clients reflect on what they have done for themselves lately. One of my favorite quotes by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is "You don't have to see the whole staircase, just to take the first step" because it can help us to remember to take it one step at a time. Often we cannot always see what lies ahead of us but if we take it one step at a time, no matter how big or small, we will eventually get there. This perspective has helped me through many times in my life and I hope that it inspires my clients as well.

I have experience providing therapy with children of all ages around grief, anxiety, depression and trauma. I also have experience with providing therapeutic services from a faith-based perspective.

You can contact Imani directly at (916) 273-4383 or ImaniRTherapy@gmail.com for more information.
