🌕✨ We had such a wonderful visit from Isla and the students of Tzu Chi School! They joined our residents to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival by making traditional moon cakes together — and they turned out absolutely delicious! 🥮💛

Our Memory Care residents enjoyed a beautiful day by the ocean—soaking up the sunshine, feeling the cool breeze, and sharing smiles all around. From a peaceful picnic to watching the waves roll in, it was the perfect seaside escape filled with laughter, relaxation, and cherished memories. 💙

A big thank-you to C.A.P.A (Chinese American Parent Association of Diamond Bar) for joining us and helping our residents make beautiful lanterns to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival! 🎨🕯️

Our community was filled with creativity, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness as we prepared for this special celebration. The lanterns turned out absolutely stunning — a true reflection of the joy and connection this holiday brings. 💛

🌊☀️ Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Long Beach Shoreline Village this week! We shared a delicious lunch by the lighthouse, took in the beautiful views, and of course ended the day with some sweet ice cream treats 🍦. Smiles, laughter, and ocean breezes made it a perfect day together! 💙

There’s nothing quite like the joy of cooking and the comfort of being back in the kitchen. With our Flavors of Home program, our residents get to roll up their sleeves, share recipes, swap stories, and do what they love—cook! 🥘🥗🍪

This month, we had the treat of making and tasting homemade dumplings—and they were absolutely delicious! 🥟💛

The smiles, the delicious aromas, and the memories created around the table remind us all that food truly brings people together.

🎉 Assisted Living Week 2025 🎉

This week we had the joy of celebrating our incredible team! 💙 From a nacho bar, root beer floats, and delicious Juan Pollo (thank you Juan from Ultracare Hospice!) to sweet treats and donuts, our staff truly felt the love.

But the most meaningful part? Receiving heartfelt thank-yous from our residents and their families. 💌 Those words of appreciation mean more than anything.

We are beyond grateful for the family we’ve built here—our dedicated activities, administration, concierge, dining, housekeeping, maintenance, marketing, transportation, and wellness, team. It truly takes a team, and we believe we have the very best! 🙌

And of course, our residents and families are the heart of our community. 💖 Thank you for trusting us and for being such a special part of Walnut Valley Senior Living.
