We were born from a vision to reclaim ancestral knowledge, reweave cultural memory, and create a space where Indigenous science could live, breathe, and guide us forward. That vision took root here, and together we built something meaningful.
Now, after years of dedicated work, we announce with bittersweet confidence that the Kailukuan School of Indigenous Science will formally close at the end of January 2026.
As part of this closure:
• All active memberships will conclude at the end of January 2026
• A special Graduation Ceremony will be held at the end of Jan 2026 to honor all who have completed the program, and to celebrate a new beginning
• Our physical studio in Walnut, CA in will remain
• Collaborations, studio rentals, workshop and event offerings are still welcome and encouraged!!
will continue his teachings of the martial and healing arts of the Philippines in a renewed form at a future location, where he will carry forward his decades of sacred work in ancestral combat and healing arts. Students previously and currently enrolled in the Ablon Certification Program will remain supported and mentored throughout their practitioner journey.
From now until Jan 2026, the space will be in transition as it transforms into the *KIN Global Arts Collective*, led by co-founder . Kin Global Arts Collective will connect, empower, and inspire artists from all backgrounds through transformative creative expression, cultural exchange, and community-building — fostering a global network where art bridges cultures and generations. This next chapter will carry forward the values of cultural restoration by honoring the wisdom that has survived and thrived within all Global Indigenous cultures.
We sincerely thank each of you who walked with us, who studied, practiced, and healed within this circle. The heart of its mission will live on through the continued work of its founders, dedicated staff and all our exceptional students.
To all who have walked alongside us and felt the impact of our school’s teachings, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
