At Werner Eyes of the Valley, we strive for a comprehensive and satisfactory experience for each individual as it relates to vision and eye health. We offer state-of-the-art imaging services, a wide selection of eyeglasses and contacts, and competent doctors & staff who are always placing your needs above all else. We absolutely NEVER want a patient to feel as though their needs were not met or that their glasses/contacts don't work. The art of prescribing glasses is more than just putting your eyes in a machine and writing the script; it's a careful balance that takes into account previous prescriptions, eye muscle ability, lifestyle, etc. As a result, the "ideal" prescription for an individual may not always be very easy to get used to. That being said, if problems occur with new prescriptions, we strongly encourage you to let us know so we can work with you! We have also recently started a Low Vision Clinic to help provide for those individuals who may have difficulty seeing even with glasses due to conditions of the eyes such as Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and many more. Please call us with any questions or to schedule a time to come in - we are here for you!

*Note: As we are a medical facility, masks are still required as outlined by the CDC. We know it's annoying and we are sick of it too! But we appreciate your understanding in the matter :)

Separation of work and play - unless it’s in Orlando!

Docs Werner journeyed to Vision Expo for continuing education and a chance to see all the latest and greatest innovations at the optometry fair in sunny Orlando, and had some fun at Universal Studios too!

We bought a new Optomap machine to provide the most up-to-date care to our patients, searched for some new ~indestructible~ frame lines for our pediatric population, and researched new ways for our patients to schedule exams and interact with our office in a more seamless manner.

In the service of our community, we, uh, find a way!

Another successful Lehigh Valley Chamber Snow Ball!

This year, proceeds went towards Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania - a great organization providing access to healthy and nourishing food to those in need, advocating for health and racial equity.

February is Low Vision Awareness Month 👀

We are proud to serve the Low Vision community at our Low Vision Center in Walnutport. Dr. Anderson Werner, OD, and Dr. Zamboni-Werner, OD, lead our Low Vision clinic and help provide sight to those who can’t see well with traditional glasses or contacts due to eye disease. This includes severe macular degeneration, diabetes, glaucoma, and others.

There are a wide range of devices available, from varying types of magnifiers to contrast enhancers, and even some state of the art electronic viewing devices. If you or someone you know is really struggling with their vision and open to seeing what else is out there, schedule an exam with us to come in and see all the devices and care we have to offer!
