Birth doula services in southern NH/VT Hello friends and thank you for being here! What exactly IS a birth doula?! No worries, I get this question a lot!

A birth doula is a non-medical professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a laboring mother and in some cases, her partner. A birth doula also provides a short amount of postpartum support as well. Unakite Doula Services is my most recent baby - help me nurture her and encourage her growth in the most beautiful of ways! Since the fall of 2016, I've been working toward completing my birth doula certification through DONA International - this is a dream I've had for many years! In the past few months this dream has become a reality and I couldn't possibly be more excited to have all this falling into place! Birth can truly be so beautiful!
