Charging your devices the right way keeps you—and your home—safe.

✅ Use the right cables – Stick with the charger that came with your device. If you need a replacement, buy one from the manufacturer or one they approve.

✅ Charge on a hard surface – Never charge on a bed, couch, or under a pillow. Soft surfaces can trap heat and cause a fire.

✅ Unplug when full – Don’t overcharge; once it’s fully charged, unplug it.

✅ Charge big devices outside – Electric bikes, scooters, and power tools should be charged in a safe outdoor area.
