Something to think about 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I remember being broke for Christmas one year after food shopping and paying the bills and wrote a post dated check to make sure I could provide a good Christmas for my family. I’ve lived as high and as low as it’s possible to go. There were times I’d put $10 worth of gas in my tank and other times $50. I’ve had $5 to just feed myself and I’ve also had $200 to go out to eat. I’ve had a house full of food and times I didn’t have any. I’ve been in stores cashing out with no worries and I’ve also had to add it up and put things back on the shelf. I’ve paid my bills in full and I’ve had to pay them late too. I’ve given money and I too have had to ask for it.
We all have highs and lows in life. Some certainly more than others, but we are all just trying to make it.
No one is better than anyone else and my heart is sad for those people who think that they are. No matter how big your house is, how new your car is, or how much money sits in your bank account - we all bleed red and will eventually fade from this earth. Death has no discrimination and neither should your life.
Be kind to others. We are all here to serve. Stop the power tripping. Your oversized ego won’t get you anywhere.
Be humble. And keep faith going.
Very few will actually read this far, but if you’re genuine I challenge you to copy. Most won’t, because they’re the type of people I’m talking about. 💯

On yesterday....

All Praise to God! In March 2023, My husband received a kidney transplant. In October 2023 we were informed that he was transplanted with a diseased kidney. From then until now we have been hospitalized almost every other week literally. The transplant kidney began bleeding in April 2024 causing him many health challenges. Throughout this season of sickness, we have been praying and trusting God. I have been advocating for him to receive the healthcare he needs, which was to have this kidney removed. Last week we were hospitalized all week awaiting the surgery to remove the kidney and on multiple times was advised the surgery was moved to the next day only to get to Friday and be discharged and told they would do the surgery on the 22nd. I made a formal complaint to the hospital and I took it to God. This morning, the kidney was removed and he is recovering well as I type this. I said all that to say...It doesn't matter what it looks like nor how much comes up against you...Trust God, continue to stand on His Promises. God never fails, He is Faithful beyond measure. Hope this empowers someone to continue to stand on the promises of God. He will never leave you nor forsake you. His faithfulness is one constant you can rely on.

Happy New Week! Happy Sunday! Thank you, Lord, for bringing us into a new week. In light of all that may have happened last week, your grace is sufficient and has allowed us a new week! We are grateful for your grace. May your Word go before us and surround us as we sojourn into this new week.
