Our primary mission at Boston Sports & Shoulder Center is to provide the highest quality and leading edge orthopedic care to our community and beyond. healthcare has never been more dynamic and complex, and our team of providers treats each patient and their family with sincere compassion and helps to guide them through the healthcare process. Our physicians have soundly established themselves in the orthopedic community. All are Board-certified fellowship trained, with advanced training in their respective fields. BSSC is proud to be the home of “Boston’s Top Doctors” with a Boston Magazine award every year since 2006. Our physicians hold national leadership roles, including Dr. John Richmond who serves as the current president of the most prestigious Arthroscopy Association of North American (AANA). Dr. Brian McKeon has been the Chief Medical Officer and Head Team Physician for the Boston Celtics since 2005. All of our physicians hold academic appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine and actively teach in the New England Baptist Hospital Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. We train the young doctors of today to build and enhance quality care for future generations. Our wide range of experience sets us apart, but it is our dedication and passion for treating each patient with individualized care that defines us.
