Two cardinals rest in gentle glow 🕊️
Beside the grief I’ve come to know.

But something walking day by day.

It holds my laughter, shapes my fear.
Not conquered, no, not put aside,
It walks forever by my side.

Through morning light and evening’s fall 🌅
Grief echoes through the heart of all.
