Such a joy to spend last weekend teaching Empower Thyself to these awesome ladies!

Empower Thyself is a class, but it it so much more than a class. It is an Initiation - a beginning of a whole new way of being that opens up over the weeks, months, and years that follow.

A great example of this is that I woke up on Saturday morning to a text from a lovely client who did Empower Thyself with me last year.

The main reasons why we started working together were because she already worked in the world of impact investing and wanted to connect with a higher understanding of her purpose. She wanted a new career direction, to bring her full self to all personal and professional relationships, and have her next career move create bigger impact and align with her purpose.

She messaged me after finishing her first week at her new dream job to express her gratitude for our work together and helping her get to where she is 😍

➡️ How much more could you accomplish if you reset the clock of the expectations you have for yourself? Could you drop the ideas of how old you are, what you haven't done, and how you've failed? 🙌

I asked a client this today, and then realized how broadly applicable these questions are.

I meet so many people who are weighed down by the past. Often, this heaviness is much greater than the actual challenges they face in the present. They actually often have the capacity to create the life they desire, but that life sits on the other side of a chasm of different flavors of regret, sadness, and shame.

💥 Resetting the clock on the past does not mean lowering expectations for yourself - and it doesn't mean erasing the past.

Many people cope with this chasm by statements to the effect of they "no longer give a F&*k" or they "have no more f&*ks to give" to try to release themselves.

It's good to let go of caring about things that don't matter, like other people's opinions, but often times people are quietly actually trying to absolve themselves of their own opinions.

Creating a life that you truly love that has a positive impact will require caring an enormous amount.

It is essential to hold high standards for yourself, care deeply about yourself, and care deeply about the wellbeing of others (not their opinions).

So, what could your life look like, and what kind of impact could you have, if you were focused on the present *and* still held high expectations for yourself?

I worry about a lot of things.

When you care deeply and are aware in this world, it is impossible not to realize that there is a lot of suffering and pain.

There is injustice, hunger, poverty, war, violence, catastrophic loss of biodiversity, addiction, trauma, despair, and climate change only just beginning to accelerate (even though it already sucks).

And so much more…

So, yes, I worry.

And, yet, I have real hope and don’t get dragged down into the despair of it all.

🙏 Hope isn’t a logical response, lip service, or bypassing.

🙏 Hope is a dimensional state of being that I’ve cultivated through spiritual practice and direct, dedicated, and repeated actions taken to impact the arc of humanity.

I have hope because I know that each of us has a unique purpose, blueprint, and role in the repair and healing of the world.

I have hope because I know you can heal the seeds of pain and disconnection that you struggle with quietly, or not so quietly, and transform them into passion and impact.

I have hope because I know how powerful you can be when you heal yourself, live your purpose, and serve the greater good.

*YOU* are the greatest tool for transformation available in your life.

Together, we are capable of the seeming miracle that it will take to shift the trajectory that humanity is on.

If you want things to be different, you have to do things that are different.

🙌 Leadership starts with service 🙌

And service requires saying yes to your Self.

If you want to lead from a place of authentic power, it needs to come from within you and your Higher Self.

If you want to have a greater impact, ask:

➡️ how can I serve?

First to your own empowerment, then, how can you serve others, and eventually step into a higher level of service to healing the world.

Your Higher Self has the answers that are true to you and your unique purpose and blueprints.

This process will challenge you, push you past your comfort zone, and require that you make sacrifices of the lesser for the greater - and it might just be the most important journey you can ever take: the journey of coming to know yourself 🔥

Feeling beyond blessed for my birthday ✨❤️

There is so much goodness to be lived in the world even when things look dark.

I feel blessed that I’ve built a life that I love to live in everyday.

I feel blessed that I get to live the fruits of choosing to dedicate my life to higher purpose, to service to the Light, and to holding faith, hope, and love at the core of my being.

Birthdays are such a wonderful time to reflect on who I am, where I’ve been, and where I’m going. It’s amazing to me how much Initiation has changed my life in the past 11+ years - and even now it continues to open deeper mysteries of self knowledge, consciousness, and reality.

I do not know what the coming years will hold for humanity, but I know that I chose to plant and nurture the seeds of goodness, beauty, and unity in my life and in everything I touch.

Against all odds, I am hopeful and continue to exercise my muscles of hope everyday ✨

Recent events with the tragedy of a mother in Duxbury suffering from Post Partum Psychosis (PPP) who murdered her 3 children has highlighted how deeply important it is to expand support for mamas along so many dimensions. Seriously, they do the hardest jobs in the world and need and deserve all the love and support all the time.

That said, something that I’m not seeing spoken about enough is that much of what we call mental health crises are actually ✨spiritual/energetic✨ crises where “mental” health is the observable symptom.

Mamas need lots of practical help, family, emotional support, talk therapy, post partum doulas, counselors, meal prep, cleaning help, and sometimes medication etc.

But they also need massive spiritual and energetic support as well. The mama in this tragedy was getting a substantial amount of material and mental health care support already.

I screenshotted the conversation below because it is so important to highlight how transformative it can be for mamas to receive the core tools we have in the mystery school of Life Activation, Empower Thyself Initiation, and a Baby Blessing (which works on both the mom and the baby to wrap them in light).

Please don’t make this yet another impossible expectation box to feel like you are supposed to “check” as a mama and then beat yourself up about.

Instead, mamas, please know that if you are suffering, especially if you are suffering from Post Partum Depression and/or Post Partum Psychosis, there is more hope out there than many people know.

I have seen so many of my client’s lives, and their children’s lives, transformed by this work and I want to make sure that everyone knows it is available and how deeply profound it is.
This doesn’t replace other treatments or support - it is a “yes, and” situation ❤️

You are worthy of feeling whole, light filled, and strong from the core of your being no matter what you’ve been through and what battles you are fighting inside just to get through the day.

I’m SO excited! This week I have two great holiday events coming up and you are invited to recharge, connect, and help us raise money for a great cause❤️🤍❤️

🌙Wednesday 12/7 is an online Full Moon Meditation at 8pm - it’s free or you can choose to pay $15 that will be donated to a local food charity

🕯️Saturday is an in-person Holiday Open House and Charity Healing Fair with our team at from 2-6pm

We will be spreading holiday cheer and brightness along with mini healing sessions to raise money for DOVE, a local non-profit, and their holiday assistance program that buys gifts for families recovering from domestic violence ❤️

Magick is tied to tradition

*and*

Tradition is tied to Magick.

The structure of tradition is essential to knowing who you are and where you come from.

It is the initial container in which we grow - for better and sometimes, for worse.

Many traditions don't serve who we are in the process of becoming and can hold us into old ways of being that are painful or limiting.

My early childhood was filled with magick and wonder, but as I grew up, I began to learn that performing holidays was just as important as actually enjoying them.

Over time, tradition lost it’s magick for me and became burdensome and sad.

I’m so grateful to have found Life Activation and Empower Thyself Initiation almost 11 years ago during the holiday season.

It started me on the path of discerning what serves me, getting to know my Higher Self, and experiencing joy through also serving others 🔥

Now, my life is filled with magick and traditions that nourish my soul ❤️ and that I get to share with the incredible being who is my husband as well as family and friends.

I'm grateful to have strong traditions in my life - around holidays, the seasons, and the wheel of the year - drawn from the best of my parents, my ancestors, and sacred shamanic practices like Wicca.

Especially during the holiday season, the key to having real joy is to discern which traditions bring freedom and connection and which ones hold us back from expressing our Higher Self and who we authentically are.

For the holidays this year, consider focusing yourself first on what brings you connection with your Higher Self, meaning, and joy and then allow the changes that this brings to unfold✨💕
