Our parents gave us advice all the time, and as kids we never wanted to listen.

Now that we are older we see some of the truth in what we were told. One example is 'Sit up Straight!' which may sound so small, but the impact is big.

When we don't sit or stand with correct posture, especially for those of us on our phones, computers, or sitting at the desk all day. It can cause something we like to call 'Tech Neck'.

The discs in our spines are like jelly donuts. And just like a jelly donut, everything is better when the jelly stays where it should. 🍩

You may know that our spines have discs, and those discs are important to helping move us around and keeping our bodies balanced.

What you may not know is that jelly like substance can come out of our discs from moving wrong. Hard, fast, twisting, sudden jerking movements, or overexertion can all cause damage to our discs.

This can be prevented by lifting heavy objects properly, keeping the object close to you and lifting with your legs.
