Thank you to everyone who stayed at Pure Heart this season! We had a great time hosting, growing flowers, and practicing yoga. Deep gratitude for everyone who helped out this year! Now that we are officially closed for the winter, it’s time to get to work on some fun projects for next year. We look forward to opening again May 1st 2026 with a few exciting new additions and transformative retreats on the calendar. Hope everyone enjoys their winter!

This gorgeous black bear has been a recent visitor to the chokecherries next to Pure Heart Retreat. Here he is about 30 feet from the ground, unconcerned. Maybe guests this fall will see him from the dome windows as they sip their morning coffee. Thanks to Ske Gimmeson for the drone footage.

Jeff and Mutt are the newest employees of Pure Heart Retreat. Hired to eat grasshoppers, which they currently have no interest in. They are much more interested in yoga and they are so adorable that they can get away with it.
EDIT: Training in the garden just took a fantastic turn, Jeff has now eaten 6 grasshoppers!
