This gorgeous black bear has been a recent visitor to the chokecherries next to Pure Heart Retreat. Here he is about 30 feet from the ground, unconcerned. Maybe guests this fall will see him from the dome windows as they sip their morning coffee. Thanks to Ske Gimmeson for the drone footage.

Jeff and Mutt are the newest employees of Pure Heart Retreat. Hired to eat grasshoppers, which they currently have no interest in. They are much more interested in yoga and they are so adorable that they can get away with it.
EDIT: Training in the garden just took a fantastic turn, Jeff has now eaten 6 grasshoppers!
