I am a certified Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, Level II Crystal Reiki practitioner. I am 6th generation in my lineage under Hawayo Takata, and received my attunements from Luna Hacker of Luna Enchanted. I hope to aid in the emotional, physical, and spiritual healing of others through Reiki. Reiki is a great way to help your body relax and open the flow of natural energy. I incorporate the use of crystal energy into my sessions. Reiki does not replace proper medical or psychiatric treatment. In addition, I have a MA in Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. I have over 15+ years of experience working with children and adults with various developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Rett syndrome, Cornelia De Lange, ML4, and others. I hope to bring my knowledge and experience in this area into my Reiki practice to help those with developmental disabilities in relaxation, energy regulation, and other benefits associated with Reiki. This will be done only in my capacity as a Reiki practitioner, as it is outside the scope of my practice to provide any psychological services outside of a school environment. I will work to tailor sessions to each individuals needs including alternate positioning, and an understanding of various sensory sensitivities/needs. Animals may also benefit from the healing energy of Reiki in various ways, I hope to offer short animal Reiki sessions in the future. Each animal reacts to the energy differently, and some may not tolerate it well. I will work with your pet based on their tolerance, therefore session time may vary. I am also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church (ULC). I will be offering wedding, handfasting, and funeral services to those looking for a non-traditional service, or who would like a more customizable service. When I am not working I am a mom, gardener, lover of music and dance, true crime watcher, and interested in all things paranormal and have studied parapsychology.
