Abilities First is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the needs of over 1,300 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from preschool through adulthood throughout the Hudson Valley. Founded in 1962, Abilities First is a not-for-profit organization serving the needs of the community, as well as those with developmental disabilities, from pre-school through adulthood. Abilities First has had a long-term commitment of providing a cohesive culture of compassion, empowerment and respect for people with a variety of disabilities through educational, vocational, residential and habilitation services.

⏰ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Abilities First – 99 Inwood Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603

Positions: Residential Coach I & Residential Coach II
Pay Range: $17.90–$20.41/hour PLUS incentives

Residential Coach I: $17.90–$19.90/hour
Residential Coach II: $18.41–$20.41/hour
Weekend Shift Differential: +$1.00/hour (Fri 11pm–Mon 7am)
Additional certification pay (training provided):
Med Administration +$1.00
Insulin +$.50
G-Tube +$1.00
Ostomy Care +$.50

We’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits your life — full-time and part-time opportunities available (some weekend availability required).
