Thankful & Grateful We’re honored to share a small glimpse of the impact your kindness makes. This heartfelt card — paired with two gift cards — is being given to a family in need through our Holiday Helping Hands program for a Thanksgiving meal this holiday.

Thanks to the Foundation for Abilities First NY (FAFNY) and to the generous donors whose early contributions have helped kick-start this year’s Holiday Helping Hands efforts. Because of you, families who reached out for support will have a brighter, more joyful season.

If you’re able, please consider making a gift to Holiday Helping Hands and help us continue spreading warmth, hope, and holiday cheer to those who need it most.

Community Connections friends Brandon and Paul had an amazing time participating in this year’s Passport to Possibilities adventure! Together with their AF Coordinator, Rich, they explored so many fun and exciting places throughout the Hudson Valley — discovering new experiences, meeting great people, and making unforgettable memories along the way.

Brandon and Paul are proudly showing off their passports filled with stamps and the Abilities First goodies they earned for taking part.

The photos you see also highlight some of Paul’s Hudson Valley adventures — visiting College Hill, hiking through Mills Mansion, exploring the Norrie Family Memorial, stopping at the Pleasant Valley Train Station, taking in the Million Dollar View at the Mohonk Preserve, and even making new friends while enjoying the award-winning pizza at Pomo Doro in Pleasant Valley and chatting with postal workers at the Hyde Park Post Office ! 🍕

We’re already looking forward to seeing where next year’s journey takes them. New adventures await! 💙🌎

We’re proud to celebrate National Philanthropy Day with the incredible team at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Hudson Valley Chapter () — and even prouder to represent the Foundation for Abilities First NY!

A big shout-out to our dynamic duo: JoAnn Parker, Director of Development, and Billie Jo Buttner, Development Coordinator, whose passion, creativity and tireless work help make “Abilities Made Possible” every single day.

We believe that philanthropy is about people + purpose + possibility, and today we honor the donors, volunteers, partners and champions who fuel our mission. Thank you for making impact possible — together we are building pathways for possibility.
