We are thankful to have a part in this special day for Leadership Laurens County! Thank you to our Behavioral Health Coordinator, Alyssa Birch, and our Peer Support Specialist, Kristan McCrary, for their presentation for Social Services Day! Carolina Health Centers focuses on community and gets to the root of the problem. This includes food insecurity, addiction, recovery, and many other life experiences that our communities are facing. A big part of that knowledge base comes from continuing education. We have recently started an employee-based Lunch + Learn for our staff to take part in! This week, our staff at Uptown Family Practice had the privilege of hearing from Angela Christopher, Director of Recreation Operations, from Savannah Lakes Village on "The Blueprint: A Healthcare Professional's Guide to Sustainable Wellness"!
