Wonderful group of new NP!! Very exciting futures

Today at our Transition to Practice Program in Marlborough, MCNP was thrilled to welcome more than 50 into our NP community. The room was filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and a shared passion for the Nurse Practitioner role.

From inspiring speakers and insightful panelists to meaningful networking among engaged attendees, the program reflected the knowledge, guidance, and community that empower new NPs as they enter practice.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us—and to our incredible volunteers who helped make the event such a success! 💙

On Wednesday, April 9, we are having esophageal screening. This is to help detect Barrett’s esophagus and early signs of esophageal cancer. It is free of charge. We are opening it to the public because we find this so important and life-saving. Risk factors include people who have ever smoked, been obese, white men, family history of esophageal cancer, and people who drink alcohol, Over the age of 50. And anybody who is suffered from Gerd or heartburn. A lot of people fall into those risk factor categories. If you think you would like to have the esophageal cancer screening it is done in office. It is free of charge even if you are not a member of our patient practice call and find out how you can get this esophageal cancer screening done. You are not qualified if you have had an upper endoscopy in the last three years,

NO!
Massachusetts residents are facing exceptional costs of living these days. Grocery prices are very high, energy costs are skyrocketing, and housing always is expensive. The last thing we should think about ever doing is imposing a tax on prescription drugs here in this state! I have very deep concerns about this proposal by the Healey administration. In particular, I worry that this tax ultimately would get passed along to be paid by sick people who are needy and/or vulnerable, which is even worse. Please know that I am absolutely OPPOSED to this new tax idea and will use the power of my office to oppose its passage by the Legislature.

Who’s with me on a path to good health in 2025. I’m talking about mindful eating. Restoring the gut biome. Healing chronic disease, including IBS, depression, diabetes, thyroid with food. It only takes maybe an hour once a week. today I made 3 x 1/2 gallons of kimchi. A crock of sauerkraut. Four containers of fermented vegetables (pickled vegetables), half gallon, each and a batch of ginger, turmeric, raspberry strawberry blueberry kombucha. And it took me about three hours including grocery shopping and prep. of course the Kraut, kimchi and the kombucha will not be ready for about another three weeks but if I do this weekly, I will always have good gut fermented foods on hand. come with me on this health and wellness journey!! from my family to yours happy new year
