Leaders from Southcoast Health and New Bedford Community Health came together yesterday to celebrate Southcoast Health’s generous $112,320 donation to NBCH’s Capital Campaign—supporting the expansion of our primary care services to the former Rite Aid building on Purchase Street.

This 13,000-square-foot space will include 30 new treatment rooms and two new Primary Care Providers, increasing access to care for thousands more patients across our community.

“Primary care is the cornerstone of a healthy community and this donation – the largest contribution we have received to date – will help us achieve the greatest primary care capacity expansion in our history,” said Cheryl Bartlett, CEO of NBCH.

We are deeply grateful to Southcoast Health for their partnership and shared commitment to improving health and wellness for all. 💙
