Last Thursday, New Bedford Community Health’s Community Health Workers brought the spirit of Thanksgiving to life for the moms and babies in our weekly Baby & Beyond support group.

Our CHWs prepared a full Thanksgiving meal, celebrated the first birthday of one of our little ones 🎉, and created a space filled with warmth, gratitude, and connection. For several moms, this was their first Thanksgiving — and sharing it surrounded by support made the day extra meaningful.

This season, we are especially grateful for our dedicated team. Their compassion, creativity, and commitment reflect the true heart of NBCH and the care we strive to provide every day.

Thank you to our CHWs for all you do to uplift our families and ensure every patient feels valued and supported. 🧡🦃

We’re feeling extra thankful after our Thanksgiving Drive! With the generous support of Tufts Health Plan | Point32Health and donations from our incredible New Bedford Community Health staff, we packed and distributed 100 Thanksgiving meal kits to families in our community.

Each kit included holiday essentials and a $50 Market Basket gift card, helping families enjoy a warm and comforting meal.

We are truly grateful for everyone who donated, packed, organized, and helped make this possible. Together, we continue to uplift our community in meaningful ways. 🧡
