I was so afraid that if a dog crossed my path. I would panic and run into the street, even into ongoing traffic to escape. My parents had tried everything to fix it and nothing worked. As an adult I tried every type of therapy to rid myself of the misery of being afflicted with such a severe phobia, but nothing worked until hypnotherapy. I was hypnotized and went back to the origin of my phobia and corrected the improper programming of my subconscious mind that caused me to react to dogs in such inappropriate terror. I was then able to get my own puppy and for the first time was able to experience the unconditional loving relationship that a pet can provide. I had my sweet Capri for twelve miraculous years before she became terminally ill. My heart was so empty and broken until my sweet little twins (only two in the litter) entered my life last year. Hypnosis was the only thing that worked for my phobia and at that time I decided that it would be my mission to help others who are afflicted with irrational fears or any other issues that hypnosis can correct to give them a more fulfilled, happy and healthy life. The unique type of hypnosis that I practice can also control unwanted habits such as smoking, overeating, nail biting, etc. usually in only one session. For instance, a smoker knows on a conscious level that she is poisoning herself with to***co, but the subconscious mind keeps telling her to light up. It is a constant battle of wills and the subconscious mind is going to win. It is only under hypnosis that we can talk to the subconscious mind and correct the behavior. Otherwise, it is a losing battle. I watched my father lose that battle with ci******es when he died in my arms from lung cancer. When I help a client stop smoking through hypnosis, I view it as literally saving that person's life.
