Duties & Responsibilities:
• Deburr Medical Device Components made from various metals and plastics.
• Operate deburring hand tools including Scrapers, sandpaper and razor blades
• Operate Various deburring Equipment including Bead Blasters and tumblers
• Clean parts as necessary
• Clean and organize work area.

Position Requirements:
• Must be able to Read and write in English
• Driver’s license
• High School Education
• Attention to Detail – Must be hyper critical and immediately notice small discrepancies
• Reliability –follow through with assigned tasks and responsibilities consistently and effectively

We are hiring CNC programmers within all departments at Axial Medical: Swiss (Citizen), 5-Axis Milling (CHIRON/MAZAK/HAAS) and Wire EDM (FANUC).

Experience is required for this position:
Programmers are expected to have a complete understanding of the machine and their CAD software. They understand the difference between “knowing” CAD software and knowing how to use it effectively. They focus on meeting quality and cycle time expectations. They take the setup and operation of their program into account; programs are expected to be clean and concise for setup and easy to operate. They know how to generate ideas and drawings for custom tooling solutions.The best programmers are creative problem solvers, detail oriented, self-motivated and passionate about their work.

ABOUT AXIAL:
Axial Medical is a 40,000 square foot, Medical Device Contract Manufacturing company. We operate one shift from 7a-5p each day (7.5hrs of guaranteed overtime each week) and have we have an optional weekend shift for an additional 5 hours of overtime.

• LOOKING FOR:
We are hiring a Level 1-2 operators for our Citizen Swiss department. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. The best fit would be someone looking to jump start his or her career and grow within our organization. We provide all training and the sky is the limit here.

• EXPECTATIONS:
Level-1 Basic Operator (0-2 years of experience)
Level 1 machinists are expected to operate their machines and deburr parts. They must use basic inspection equipment to complete in-process inspection reports. They can differentiate a “good-part” from a “bad-part” through a visual inspection. When issues are found, He or she will alert their supervisor to make required changes.
Level-2 Advanced Operator (2-4 years of Experience)
Level 2 machinists are expected to use advanced inspection equipment and processes. They can change tools and make the offsets to keep parts in-tolerance. They are developing their ability interpret blueprints and how offsets change part configuration.
