Meet Tina Moody

For 1,288 days, Tina has stayed committed to her recovery with the help of iHOPE transportation services, ensuring she can access her medication-assisted treatment (MAT) without barriers.

After her last hospitalization for overdose and sepsis, she met Peer Navigator Tim Berry and that connection helped change everything.

Today, Tina stands strong in her chosen recovery pathways: MAT and Faith, and shared her powerful testimony at the rally.

This scholarship was created in memory of our son Sebastian and rooted in love, remembrance, and hope.

It supports those continuing their education while carrying lived experience with substance use, either personally or within their family.

It is one small way we honor Sebastian’s life and continue his legacy.

IHOPE staff had the opportunity to attend Georgia’s largest Recovery Advocacy event of the year, the 2026 Addiction Recovery Awareness Day (ARAD) at the Georgia General Assembly. This inspiring event brings together the Georgia Recovery Community, which includes individuals in recovery, their families, healthcare professionals, advocates, and allies. We come together to celebrate and amplify our collective voice, representing over 800,000 Georgians in recovery. This demonstrates that recovery is alive and thriving in Georgia.
