What does ParaSiva mean?
ParaSiva Holistic Healing is named after the Hindu term Parasiva (or Parashiva) - Para: Supreme, beyond. Siva: Auspicious, Gracious, Kindly one.
Parasiva is the formless Avatar of Lord Shiva, and also the most powerful and transcendent form of Shiva, The Self God, Absolute Reality.
Para (or Parvati), is one of many names for the Universal Mother, the Mountain’s Daughter.
Mythologically, Parvati is wedded to Siva. Hence, the name ParaSiva - the union of the divine feminine and masculine, in balance.
