Effective May 15, Deerfield Behavioral Health of Warren (DBHW), a non-profit affiliate of Journey Health System, will operate as a Physician Practice and build collaborative partnerships with healthcare organizations, community agencies & other clinicians to strengthen the region's behavioral health workforce and partnerships. All DBHW providers & employees will remain a part of this new care model. As a result of this change, our Outpatient Clinics will permanently close in Warren, Bradford & Erie. The clients we served were transitioned to other local clinics to ensure continued support. Many will remain within Journey Health System through an affiliate partner, such as Beacon Light Behavioral Health Systems.

Deerfield Centers for Addiction Treatment (DCAT) operations is now detached from DBHW under a new management agreement with another JHS affiliate, Stairways Behavioral Health (SBH), in order to ensure continued & sustainable addictions treatment services in Warren & Forest counties.

The restructuring of DBHW & DCAT will allow each agency to focus on their respective services. DBHW=Physician practice management, prescriber recruitment, care coordination with partnering organizations & a tele-behavioral health program. DCAT=Outpatient addiction treatment clinics, assessments, medication-assisted treatment, certified recovery services & mental health support.
