John Wesley and John did a great job on my parking lot. I know some of the melt is going to refreeze so we will open late tomorrow (01/28/26). We plan to open at 10. Most likely we will be drive through only so you don’t have to get out of the car.

We will not be opening this afternoon. Too much ice. We are trying to get it cleared enough to be open tomorrow.

The office is still closed today due to icy conditions. I will try to check this afternoon around 1pm to see if we are able to clear the parking area to see patients. If it is safe I will post here and see sick patients only through the drive through.

Our office lot is still a skating rink. I am hoping to be able to get some of that off in the morning and work tomorrow afternoon. I will update here tomorrow to let you know the times I will be available. My staff all live further away than I do so I likely will not have them drive because their roads are still very covered I may not be answering the phone, but it should still let you leave a message. Watch for opening time here. It will be drive through only for sick or urgent things.

Due to icy roads and parking lots our office will be closed tomorrow. If you have an appointment scheduled we will call to reschedule these when we are back in the office. If you are sick tomorrow please call the office number to send a message or message me here and we can arrange telemedicine visit. I will be doing refills in the morning and later in the day in case pharmacies are open.

Reminder to go pick up your medicines at the pharmacy to plan for the winter storm. I just did refills. If you need anything call or message me. I will be going by the office later today so if you are sick and want to be seen let me know. Telemedicine is also available.

Today’s infectious disease tip. Flu and Covid are rampant in our county right now. Stomach virus is also not popular but very prevalent. Wash your hands. If you or your children are sick stay home! For flu and Covid we recommend about 5 days or at the least 48 hours fever free and without symptoms. For the stomach virus absolutely wait until you have had no vomiting or diarrhea for a full 24 hours without medication.

Today I’m just going to mention little changes that make big differences. Most of you who know me know that sweets are my go to for stress and energy. But really they were dragging me down! Making me constantly want more. I traded those for an apple most days. It has helped my sugar and my weight. Walk a little right after a meal.

Did you know you can see your lab and Xray results as soon as I do if you sign up for the portal? It’s called the Healow app. Just call the office or ask to get signed up the next time you are in. You can also send refill requests and messages to the doctor or nurse this way. Schedule an appointment or pay your bill online as well.
