Safehaus Children's Intensive Crisis Residential A short term intensive crisis treatment center for children in a home-like atmosphere. Up to 6 children stay in each house.

Safehaus is a short term (Average 10-14 days) Crisis Residential Center that provides all the care that a hospital provides in a home-like setting. Our main goal is to keep your child safe, in a loving and therapeutic environment, while providing him or her with the therapy and services which will help them get over this crisis quickly and become a stronger, better and healthier individual. It is

our belief, at Safehaus, that your child will have a better experience in a small home like setting, which is a better place to work on their current problems. Individual therapy is provided to your child Monday through Friday while group therapy is provided daily. A minimum of one family therapy session is provided throughout their stay. We have a medical team that provides a psychiatric evaluation with on site nursing. We provide a resident to staff ratio of 3-to-1 based on resident mix and acuity. Therapeutic services are offered for children from the ages of 10-17 years of age. Safehaus currently provides services for Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County, and 30 other CMH boards across Michigan. Single Case Agreement also availabe, along with BCBS, BCN, Priority Health & Other Affiliated Third Party Insurers. Each family will be aligned with a proud member of our case management team in which they will guide you along your Safehaus journey, answering any questions should they arise. We will also assist you with outpatient aftercare scheduling.
