Children's, Noah, last week.
Sunday st Patrick's day Noah started throwing up at 2am. Once it was 3am and he had not stopped I shut his tube feed off, checked his temp, and blood sugar. We went through 3 clothing changes for Noah, 1 for me and 4 bedding changes that night. He continued to vomit with 2/3 hour break between each episode. At 1pm Monday we got to warren general. The er was packed that day but he was marked urgent bc of his history, hernia, g-tube, and presentation. Well tests and xrays later it was revealed he had a partial mid small bowel obstruction. And those can be very not good if not caught early and resolved. So we were sent by ambulance to Pittsburgh. Once there and they redid xrays, they said he was clear and fine. So they discharged him. At some point between warren xray and pitt xray the obstruction resolved itself. But they said he DID in fact have one. This was honestly the first time I had ever felt forced and rushed out of the er there. And nobody went over any discharge instructions or paperwork. We sat and waited 10 hours in the lobby there for a ride to come home. Noah took a 3hr nap on me and I spent absurd amount of money on a singular balloon 🎈 bc my babyboy was getting excited seeing other ppl with balloons 🥺❤️ and my ubereats driver decided to throw his half eaten sandwich crust in my chic fil a bag 🤮
