Mind Hack - How to Stop Eating Unhealthy

Our mind is simple. It avoids pain and seeks pleasure.

If you have a bad habit, say reaching for ice cream at night, then you can get rid of it if you want. All you have to do is associate all the real painful consequences of eating ice cream. Things like losing confidence in yourself, not looking your best, and not getting health issues.

Start instead associating pleasure with avoiding ice cream. Pleasure can be feeling great, looking better, and having being successful on one more step towards your goal (how it makes you feel to be one step closer).

Apply power of association to anything you do that you want to quit.

Key to losing weight.

I didn't lose weight until I DECIDED that I'm gonna lose weight! Nothing is going to stand in my way. I am going to be better than this. I know I can do better than this!

Mindset is key to losing weight. When you really decide, you don't consider anything else. You must get that thing you want.

This is the kind of decision making we ALL have to start doing in our lives.

Think about it...what is your lack of decision making costing you? Do you make decision or are your decision more like preferences. You know you really made a decision when you have action followed by your decision.
