We are looking for a part time sonographer with RVT/RDMS registration to perform ularasound studies for evaluating Varicose Veins and all other venous disorders. Rquired to work 3-4 hours on Mondays and Thursdays only. A very nice place to work with friendly colleagues. Compensation is competitive in the range ( 30-35 per hr) depending upon the experience. As therapy for varicose veins advances new procedures have become available. One of them involves closing the diseased veins with a medical grade glue called Cyanoacrylate. Frequently we hear from patients that they were treated for DVT and taking blood thinners for ever. This is not always necessary unless there is proven clotting predisposition. A 3 month treatment with anticoagulants would be sufficient. This can be checked at the Vein Center with Ultrasound.
