Temple hollowing isn’t about adding volume — it’s about restoring structure.
This is advanced biostimulator work using . I placed the product, intentionally, in the correct tissue plane with a microcannula to support the upper face. This is where aging actually starts because it will: 1. show the skull more (which we would see and perceive someone to be older) and 2. take away the structural support for the skin around the eye causing it to sag.
So, by me choosing to use Bellafill here, I am not only adding back that structural support, but I am also using the Bellafill because it will gradually stimulate collagen production over time. So, this is long-term structural restoration…measured in years, not months.

Krista and I have had the privilege of educating fellow providers on the safety, science, and proper injection techniques of at our Florida Youthology location. We are helping lead the conversation on how collagen biostimulators continue to lead the way in the future of aesthetic medicine. As this world moves more towards bioavailable, biohacking, and bioidentical, biostimulating collagen continues to be more and more important in our aesthetic/cosmetic medicine treatment plans. At Youthology, we continue to lead the conversation on how Bellafill is the best and safest option for providers and patients.
Krista and I also had the opportunity to present our Youthology story at Tiger Aesthetics and Tiger Biomedical’s annual sales meeting. We got to discuss how we have grown a practice based in regenerative aesthetic medicine and how Bellafill has played an integral role in that.

BODY CONTOUR
This is a series of photos that my patient sent in for her follow ups next to my photo from her pre-op consultation.

I contoured down her abdomen and love handles. For all of my procedures here, I use ultrasonic-assisted liposuction (VASER) and . I combine these modalities because all of my patients can benefit from skin/tissue contraction. Again, gym work and diet/nutrition doesn’t always contract your tissue to the extent that you would sometimes hope.
Ultrasonic Energy + Renuvion, in my opinion, is the strongest, most effective way to contract tissue that we have available at present day.
You could combine these modalities with hormone replacement/optimization and/or peptides (if you are into those) to aid your tissue in contracting as much as possible. If you were older, had pregnancies, in peri-menopause, menopause, andropause, or had big weight fluctuations, then these modalities would be more useful during healing and in maximizing response.
Usually when I slim down an abdomen and love handles, like I did here, it would help your back side appear more contoured and sometimes “lifted” because we are shrinking the tissue around it. Sort of like making a mountain appear taller by digging out around its base.
Her tissue will continue to heal over the next 10 months. The end-result of a body contouring procedure is usually at about 12 months post-op. Around the 6 month mark though, you could usually see a little more tissue contraction. This is because the Renuvion will cause some new collagen formation and it takes about that long for that new collagen to form a network/scaffold to where the skin may contract more.
So, her being at 2 months looks great, but she should continue to improve over the rest of the year.

I performed my Sn**ch That procedure on this patient. She used that procedure as a starting point in a fitness journey. This is her before and after.
My Sn**ch That procedure, again, is VASER-assisted liposuction of the lower face and neck with tissue contraction of those areas. It is a minimally-invasive procedure as it is done through three small incisions. It is also done comfortably, completely awake, with locally-infused anesthesia. It takes me about 30 minutes to do the procedure and there is minimal to no downtime (aside from wearing a compression garment).
I am currently charging $6,000 for my Sn**ch That procedure… The fitness is free :)
What do you think? I think that she obviously looks great and I love that she combined my procedure with a diet and exercise routine. Most of the time one of those may not be enough because weight loss/control doesn’t really tighten skin.

BEGINNING OF THE AFTER
I did a big provider training at my Sarasota, FL office this past weeekend on for . This was one of my models for the training.
I know that this isn’t really impressive yet (and I know how you are supposed to do more “wow” posts on here), but I really think that I achieved what I was going for after the first facial contouring session.
This patient is 72 and she is a perfect example of why we have a cosmetic medical practice based in regenerative products and treatments like Bellafill. Since Bellafill is a collagen biostimulator within a gel carrier, patient’s will enjoy the immediate volume replacement followed by improvement in their skin/tissue health, tone, turgor, and texture. Bellafill will continue to improve over the next several months/years. I will see her back in April and start to add more/boost what I did here (kinda like planting a garden and then periodically fertilizing). Since Bellafill is a long-lasting, semi-permanent product, we will continue to add and boost rather than replace (like you do with neurotoxin or HA filler).
I treated her in her temples, lateral checks, anterior midface (below her under eyes), and around the top portion of her mouth. You can already notice the improvement that she has with the volume replacement (with respect to the superficial wrinkles). I will continue to update with posts over the next year or so so that you can see her transform before your eyes!
We treat our patients over time because volume replacement and improving tissue health don’t just usually happen on one visit. We work under your beauty budget so you can feel comfortable in knowing that there isn’t any “sticker shock”. *I used 10 syringes of Bellafill here for reference.

RESTORE | HANDS
We just began rejuvenating this patients hands. I used 4 syringes of here to fill in the space between her tendons and above some of her blood vessels. When you do this, the volume not only helps the hand appear more youthful, but because we are using a collagen biostimulator, the patient’s skin/tissue will slowly become healthier over the next several months/years. Healthier skin/tissue is tighter, plumper, more hydrates, and thicker.
We scheduled her to get a round of PRF EZ Gel in the back of her hands next month. We will draw her blood, process out the Protein Rich Fibrin, and then process that further into a gel-like filler. This will amplify and continue the regenerative process.
Again, this is just from the initial Bellafill and the PMMA component of Bellafill really needs at least a couple months to start working. I will keep you updated on this though so you can see the transformation as it is happening!
People, this is a great treatment because, believe it or not, it’s not that hard to tell a person’s age from their hands…

WEIGHT LOSS = BIOSTIMULATOR
We are seeing a push to incorporate more biostimulator treatments into patient’s regimens with the upward trend in GLP-1 use.
At Youthology, we have been a regenerative medicine practice based in biostimulator use for over 10 years now. Using products like PMMA (Bellafill) or PLLA (Sculptra) just made the most sense to me back in 2015 and we have used them almost exclusively since then. Now that the aesthetic world is more biostimulator, biohacking, bioavailable, bioidentical, etc, these products are getting more and more use.
I used in this patient to help support the tissue on the lower face. What is great about Bellafill is that it you get the immediate volume improvement with the ongoing structural tissue improvement. I used the product here to add volume to the area behind and in front of where she is jowling. I also placed the product in a manner behind her jowl that will “pull” back and support the lower cheek by making the skin healthier behind it. Healthier skin is fuller, tighter, and stronger.
I used 6 syringes of Bellafill here. Please remember that with the biostimulators, you have to have patience as it will work gradually over time. It takes your body about 6 weeks to start to form new collagen fibers and about 12-15 weeks to get those fibers to create a collagen network and add the structural integrity.
