I was born and raised in the Russell/ Lander area, where I still live, with my husband, son, and Black Lab. I attended Great Lakes Institute of Technology (2006-'07), in Erie, PA, for my initial training. In 2009-10, I attended Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute for Medical Massage, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have since completed additional training in Trigger Point, Pregnancy Massage, and

Cupping. I love hearing when I've made a difference in how someone feels, physically or emotionally. Whether it is the state of relaxation that they feel afterwards, or that they can move better, it brings me joy to know I have made a difference in someone's life. I also work with Hospice of Warren County, serving as a massage therapist to the patients as well as their family members. So many people underestimate the power of touch, and how important it is for your health.

Yesterday, I found out that one of my favorite clients passed away (I know, I shouldn't have favorites. But she was special 😆).
She was in her 90s.
She was a client for over 10 years (I haven't worked on her in about 2 years. Just before I had Walker).
She started coming to me weekly when she was 83! She drove herself to the office and was always dressed to the 9s, including heels 👠.
She was the last massage I gave before I had Killian. And she was proud of that 😊
In the last couple years of having her as a regular client, I did house calls for her (I told you she was special). I literally crawled in bed with her to do her massages. One day, she asked me how long she had been coming to me. I figured it out & told her almost 10 years (I think it was about 8 at that time). She said "well after 10 years, I guess it's ok for you to be in bed with me" 🤣🤣🤣

She lived a full life. She shared her adventures with me. Always told me "you young people..." And would proceed to tell me what we were doing wrong 🤣 she was always right, and would make sure you knew it (I figured out real quick she wasn't one to argue with, you wouldn't win 🤣).
She will always have a special place in my heart, and I was blessed to have her in my life💓
