In Dr. Galante’s never ending search for the most innovative and conservative treatments, we have invested our time and money to further our goal of making our patients the healthiest in the whole world. That sounds a bit optimistic – but we believe it is achievable. The first new technology is Dental AI artificial intelligence.

The second innovation is Guided Biofilm Therapy or GBT. It is a philosophy of treatment in which we educate our patients about the role of Biofilm, also known as plaque, and its role in oral health as well as its relation to inflammation. Next, we stain the Biofilm to show you where the Biofilm hangs out and give you some strategies to remove the sticky film. Then we go to town with our new Airflow power sprayer, which efficiently removes the Biofilm. It’s great for staining and also whitens the teeth. After that, we carefully remove the crusty hard deposits that are left. It’s a paradigm shift in prophylaxis – efficient and painless.
