Digital Scanning

For the past five years, we have been digitally scanning teeth, mouth, and gums—eliminating the need for traditional impressions with that messy goop that had to remain in your mouth for four or more minutes.

With our digital camera, we can take your impression in thirty seconds or less. It captures hundreds of images in just seconds. These images can then be sent through the internet to our dental laboratory to create Invisalign, crowns, bridges, implants, snoring guards, and much more.

What is this recently acquired technology?

3D Cone Beam X-Rays

Cone beam X-rays are a three-dimensional imaging technology that provides far more detail than standard digital X-rays. Traditional digital X-rays use a low dose of radiation to capture two-dimensional images, which means conditions like decay or periodontal defects are only visible from front to back.

With a cone beam X-ray, we can view structures from the side as well, adding a third dimension. This allows us to detect hidden cracks, better diagnose issues, and precisely plan implant placement.

Best of all, patients don’t have to place anything in their mouth during the scan.

This technology represents today’s standard of care, helping us provide more accurate, comfortable, and advanced dental treatment.
