Be sure to stop at your local sporting goods store to stock up on warm, light weight, moisture wicking active wear. Staying warm and dry in cooler temps will prevent injuries while exercising outdoors.

Also be aware of how your foot is striking the ground. Altering how your foot hits the ground can cause injuries and instability. Stretching before your run can warm your muscles up. Don't forget to stretch your feet too!
