After years of hard-fought fundraising and hundreds of generous donations, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Christmas came early with the arrival of our brand new van and bus!

These beautiful new modes of transportation are here for our wonderful residents to enjoy and will immediately help us expand opportunities by providing safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation to events, appointments, and so much more.

This dream wouldn't be possible without the incredible support from our community. A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated, organized, and worked tirelessly to make this happen. You have made a lasting difference!

We’re planning a fun Christmas craft project for our North Star Manor residents mid-November, and we’d love your help!

We’re on the lookout for old picture frames of any size, color, or style. We’ll be giving them a festive makeover with paint and decorations.

If you have any frames collecting dust at home, we’d be thrilled to give them new life.

Please contact Emily Hebert at North Star Manor by calling 218-745-5282 if you’d like to donate. We would like these frames by November 17th.

North Star Manor spent Tuesday celebrating our incredible veterans! The day was filled with phenomenal Veteran's Day programs, including a special trip to Warren-Alvarado Oslo High School, a wonderful Veteran's Day breakfast, and heartfelt gifts from the Jr. Auxiliary.

The North Star Manor community was truly blessed this summer by the generosity of Tom Osowski and King of the Road Trailers and Golf Carts. Throughout the months of July, August, September, and even into the first week of October, Tom graciously loaned us an extended golf cart that brought immense joy to our residents and tenants.

Activity Assistant Judy Weiland shared, “It has been such a privilege taking residents and tenants from North Star Apartments, Assisted Living, and the Nursing Home on rides throughout our wonderful city. The joy on their faces was indescribable! It was truly an honor to share those moments with them.”

Thanks to Tom’s kindness, our residents were able to enjoy a wide variety of outings, including: touring the town, visiting local parks, attending the Marshall County Fair, stopping by the Historical Society, taking in concerts in the park, and even visiting the cemetery to pay respects to loved ones. During these trips, we were often greeted by community members offering homemade cookies, Dairy Queen treats, and friendly conversations, making each outing even more special.

We extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to Tom Osowski for his incredible generosity. His kindness has touched more hearts than he may ever realize. Because of him, our residents created memories filled with laughter, connection, and joy. Tom’s giving spirit truly made a difference, and we are deeply grateful.

Record-breaking spooky fun! The 5th annual North Star Manor Trick-or-Treat Walk-Through was a massive success with over 245 trick-or-treaters joining us! HUGE thank you to all the amazing residents who dressed up, passed out treats, and played games. We love seeing those smiling faces! See you next year!

🔥 A Huge Thank You to the Warren Volunteer Fire Department! 🔥

North Star Manor was honored to have members of the Warren Volunteer Fire Department join us for our annual fire safety and extinguisher training! We’re so grateful for their continued support — not only do they provide valuable hands-on training, but they also complete annual building walk-throughs and are always ready to answer our questions throughout the year.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all who serve our communities — especially the dedicated members of the Warren Fire Department — for their loyal service and commitment to keeping our residents and staff safe. ❤️👏🚒
