We have been serving the needs of Warren and Forest counties since 1993. Our mission at DCAT is to offer a safe environment where individuals struggling with substance use disorders can learn about addiction, examine any underlying issues that contribute to use and develop the skills to live a life free from alcohol and drugs. Assessment
One of the first steps on the path to recovery is assessment. This assessment will help determine the appropriate level of care to best suit your current needs. Outpatient Therapy
Outpatient treatment allows you to meet with your therapist on an individual basis. These sessions usually begin as weekly but can taper as deemed appropriate. This level of care is driven by your current needs such as addressing underlying issues, working through the recovery process and developing relapse prevention skills. Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
IOP is a small, structured group experience for individuals requiring a higher level of care. This level of care involves 10 hours of treatment per week, including groups 3 days per week in conjunction with weekly individual sessions. Self-Management and Recovery Training (SMART)
Recovery is not one-size-fits-all. We offer a weekly SMART Recovery group that encourages participants to manage their recovery from addictive behaviors by emphasizing self-motivation, utilizing appropriate coping skills, managing behaviors and living a balanced life. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
MAT is the use of medications in combination with therapy to help facilitate the process of change, while reducing cravings and urges. Currently DCAT offers Vivitrol as an MAT option for those struggling with opioid use or alcohol use disorders.
