We are writing to inform you that Lippy Group is reopening next week and will be seeing both new and established patients. We understand that many of you received a previous notice regarding the closure of our practice. We are pleased to announce that we have made arrangements to continue serving our patients and are now able to resume providing care.
We apologize for any inconvenience or concern this closure notice may have caused. We are grateful for your understanding and patience during this.

We regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control The Lippy Group and the Lippy Group Hearing Aid Center will be permanently closing its doors on June 20, 2025. Due to a medical emergency that occurred to our primary physician, we are unable to serve our patients. After 60 plus years of servicing this community and being a world renowned facility, this was a very difficult decision for both Dr Berenholz and the staff who have dedicated many years to this practice. If you need to pick up records, please call our office at 330-856-4000.
These records will be available by pre-arranged picked up only. We appreciate the communities understanding during this difficult time.

PLEASE NOTE: This DOES NOT include the Lippy Surgery Center. The Lippy Surgery Center remains OPEN.

A copy of medical records can be picked up until June 30. The office will be closed as of June 20 but you can still get your records until June 30. Please call the office with any questions.

This is to inform patients of the Lippy Group for ENT. We were informed that the following ENT doctors in the local area will NOT see any patients from our practice:

UPDATE…

The Lippy Group will continue to provide ENT care in our community.

All Otology (ear-related) medical and surgical services will continue with Dr. Berenholz. Medical evaluation of nose and throat problems will continue with the practice Nurse Practitioners. Surgical treatment for nose and throat problems will not be available.

Important Announcement Follow Up

As announced previously, Dr. Farmer will no longer be with the practice effective November 1. She will not be joining another practice or opening another practice so there’s no forwarding information that we can provide at this time.

If you are a patient of Dr. Farmer and would like to obtain a copy of your medical records, submit a letter in writing to the office. There will be a charge for copying records and postage if needed. Allow 2-3 weeks to pick up or receive your records. We are starting to receive requests.

Dr. Farmer is unable to refer patients to other ENT doctors. While she would like to, some were not willing to receive new patients. She has not entrusted the care of her patients with any other ENT doctor in the area unless she discussed that with a patient specifically. She does not have a recommendation for which ENT specialist you should see if ENT care is needed. A list of local ENT doctors that Dr. Farmer is familiar with in the local area are as follows:
Dr. Hussam Tallab
Dr. Jared Bunevich
Dr. Michael Pascolini

There may be additional specialists available in the area that Dr. Farmer is not familiar with. While this has not been an easy process and it was a very difficult decision for Dr. Farmer, she is happy to try to answer any questions you have. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT…

Effective November 1, 2024, Dr. Farmer will no longer be with our practice. As a result, she’s not accepting new patients.

If you’re a patient of Dr. Farmer and would like a copy of your medical records, you’ll need to submit a request in writing. Please allow 2-3 weeks to complete the request. You can also contact the office to receive a list of other ENT specialists in the surrounding area that may be able to continue your ENT care. We appreciate your patience during this transition period for the office.

🚨ALERT🚨

Please be advised that the phones at the Lippy Group for ENT and Lippy Surgery Center are out. Phone service in the area for certain businesses has been down since Thursday. We were told they may be out all day Monday and possibly Tuesday (January 15-16).

All calls to the office will go to the answering service if you need to speak to someone urgently. Please use info@lippygroup.com for non-urgent matters and expect a response within 24 hours.
