Insight Hospital and Medical Center Trumbull remains committed to the community and our patients. We have temporarily paused inpatient admissions, with the exception of behavioral health inpatient admissions, to install new softwares and systems. We continue to provide 24/7 emergency care and all outpatient services including outpatient surgery, cardiac cath procedures, imaging, lab, rehabilitation, and all other outpatient procedures. Both Insight Health Center, Austintown, and Insight Health Center, Elm Road continue to provide all outpatient services as well.

Insight Rehabilitation Hospital Hillside continues to provide both inpatient and outpatient services as well as outpatient services at their Austintown and Elm Road locations.

We will be providing regular updates and appreciate your support and understanding during this transition.

This week we recognized Shavon Brothers, RN, as our Safety Hero. Shavon is often praised by patients and other team members for providing patient care second to none with compassion and respect. We appreciate Shavon and her hard work and dedication. We are proud she is part of our nursing team!

In continuation of Cardiac Rehab Week, we are spotlighting Ashley Isoldi, Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP).

Ashley has worked in the Trumbull Cardiac Rehab Program for over 9 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in Exercise Science from Cleveland State University and is certified through ACSM as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know all of the patients and seeing them progress from start to finish.

In honor of Cardiac Rehab Week, we will be spotlighting our team members. Our first spotlight is Robert Halicky, Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP), Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP), and Cardiac Rehabilitation Coordinator.

Robert has worked in cardiac rehabilitation for 15 years and has been at Trumbull for 12 years. He earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in Exercise Science from Cleveland State University. Robert is the area's only Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) through the AACVPR. What he loves most about his job is helping patients make lifestyle changes and ensuring the program achieves and maintains AACVPR certification.
