Residents swung by for smooth tunes, fun photo ops, and dazzling, sparkly Jell-O creations whipped up by the one and only, Chef Diane!

This week, we had the honor of celebrating an incredible milestone; one of the residents turned 100! 🎉 We had a giant celebration with family, friends, and plenty of cake.

When asked about his secret to reaching 100, Rex smiled and said, “It’s all about the good genes!”

Residents and staff put on their finest hats and springtime style for a truly elegant Easter celebration! 🌸🐣

The Province of Wexford hosted a high tea featuring a selection of teas and honeys, fresh cucumber sandwiches, fruits, and homemade desserts crafted by our talented housekeeper, Tina.

To top it all off, we were joined by a special guest, the Easter Bunny!

Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful event so memorable.

Kicking off April on a high note as we welcomed back drum expert Elizabeth Danko!

Residents had a great time exploring rhythms, trying out different instruments, and discovering new sounds.

We had an amazing turnout for this month’s Chef Demo! 👨‍🍳

Chef Richard wowed everyone with delicious corn fritters made from fresh corn on the cob, flour, eggs, and various seasonings.

A simple recipe that turned into the perfect crowd-pleasing snack! 🌽

The Province of Wexford proudly participated in Legend’s Annual March Mayhem Basketball Tournament for the very first time this year! Residents, staff, and families gathered in the café, creating an energetic and supportive atmosphere as they cheered on our team, the Province Legends, in their pursuit of the championship title.

What truly set our team apart was its incredible lineup- an all-star team made up entirely of Sisters of St. Francis! Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and spirit lit up the court and made the experience unforgettable for everyone involved.

Thank you to all who helped organize and support this exciting event - we’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Our café was full of festive spirit as residents enjoyed a day packed with Irish-themed fun. We kicked things off with live entertainment by Roger Smith, paired perfectly with scones, cupcakes, green beer, and Irish coffee! Thank you to our amazing kitchen team and Bridges Hospice for the treats!

The celebration continued into the evening with a lively performance by the Bell School of Irish Dancing, bringing energy and tradition to our community.

This week, residents got creative with a fun Decoupage craft! They used decorative napkins to design and decorate terracotta pots, creating beautiful and unique pieces.

With the warmer months approaching and gardening season right around the corner, these personalized pots will be perfect for planting flowers and herbs. 🌸🌱

Residents and staff came together for another exciting Drum Circle! 🥁 This engaging, hands-on experience gave residents the chance to explore a variety of instruments and learn how each one creates its unique sound. The energy in the room was contagious as staff joined in, playing alongside residents and sharing in the rhythm and fun.

This month’s chef demo was the perfect way to kick off the Lent season! Chef Richard delighted residents with his homemade crab rangoons, crafted from scratch using his own freshly made dough and a cheese blend mixed with imitation crab.

Served with a sweet Thai chili sauce for the perfect balance of creamy and tangy flavors, they were just as delicious as they looked!
