Great news! 🥳

We have an opening in our Pr***en Social Skills Group! This group is a great fit for high-functioning kids with ASD, ages 11–13, who are looking to build friendships and share fun experiences — all while improving social skills, boosting confidence, and gaining independence.

Exciting news!! WE’RE GROWING! Blooming Minds of Virginia is expanding our team of incredible, compassionate, highly experienced, and FUN Behavioral Therapists!

We are currently adding new Social Skills Groups to our schedule. If you have a pre-teen, teen, or young adult who could benefit from a small group outing activity with same aged peers who have compatible areas of need and strengths, reach out!

We are putting together groups of 4 individuals with 1 therapist. Specific goals are set for each child and data is tracked/ emailed to parents after each session. Outings vary and are determined according to what is age appropriate for each group.

Goals like: Interacts with community helpers independently, Initiates a conversation, Engages in a 3 exchange conversation, Asks a reciprocal question, and Notices when others are not interested in conversational topic, etc are a few examples of what we can help with!
