#31 had previously initiated pulpotomy likely, no pulpectomy. Apices #31 are open/ immature. Root system is a true "C" shape from top to bottom. Somewhat of a rarefaction, but open apices sometimes look a bit lucent. We started root canal and placed calcium hydroxide then had the patient come back 4 weeks later to finish root canal and place a permanent filling. I obturated with bioceramic putty and back filled with gutta-percha, then did the composite. You can see the "apron" of the "C" shaped system between the more prominent mesial and distal "canals". I think we might end up seeing some root maturation over the next year. He'll come back in a year to check it out.
