The inaugural Vet Connect Walk yesterday was a resounding success, drawing a significant turnout. Special recognition is extended to Mayor Devada Allison Jr. of the Town of Re*****on, along with officials from the District, Local, and State levels of the American Legion, particularly Re*****on Post 247, and Fauquier Mental Health. It is crucial to remember that thanking a veteran for their service should always be accompanied by a genuine inquiry into their well-being, as this simple gesture could potentially save a life.
