Community Support of the Piedmont Hospice Support of Fauquier County is now Community Support of the Piedmont. The new name is more aligned with the services we provide and the area we serve.

Community Support of the Piedmont is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people with medical supplies and equipment, and emotional support through volunteer services in our community. We run a no cost Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet

Community Spotlight: Community Support of the Piedmont

Since 1981, Community Support of the Piedmont has been on a mission to ensure that no one in our region begins a health challenge alone. Their goal is to connect neighbors with medical supplies, equipment, and emotional support — making recovery, healing, and day-to-day living more accessible and dignified.

What they do:
They operate a free medical equipment lending service, offering items like wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, shower chairs, canes, crutches, and other mobility or home-care aids — at no cost, no insurance, no paperwork required.
