The NECAC WIC program in Warrenton, MO has an immediate opening for a part time breastfeeding peer counselor position. The selected candidate will give basic breastfeeding information, support and encouragement to new mothers and help mothers achieve their own breastfeeding goals. Candidate must be willing to accept after hour phone calls and make home and hospital visits. 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding is a must. Email wic@necac.org if interested.

Our Blessing Hutch has been restocked! Please share with those in need. This is located in the County Administration Building in the lobby of the Health Department on the lower level.
No questions asked- just take what you need. We have a variety of personal hygiene items, socks, gloves, blankets, rain ponchos, ready to eat food, sanitary products and more. If you or your business would like to donate- call us or just drop off! Our STD Testing & Treatment Walk-In Clinic is now open. You can walk-in Tues-Fri 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (except 12-1 p.m.). This is a FREE program. If you prefer to make an appointment, you can do that as well. For the Walk-In Clinic, we recommend calling first to make sure a nurse is avaiilable 636-456-7474. There are no physical exams and no blood draws.
