March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to recognize the talents, contributions, and incredible potential of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

It’s also a time to recognize something important: the need for services is growing.

More individuals and families are reaching out for support, connection, and opportunities to build independence. At Warren County Pathfinders, our goal is simple. We want to say yes to as many people as possible. That means our programs must continue to grow.

And growth takes people who care.

We have several positions open right now, and every new team member helps open the door for another individual to receive services and pursue their possABILITIES.

Call us old-fashioned, but we’d love to meet you face-to-face.
Bring a resume.
Bring your smile.
Bring your warmth and your heart for helping others.

Stop by and see us:

The good news continues!
The House Budget Committee has completed its draft of the Fiscal Year 2027 State Budget, and we’re celebrating an important step forward.
Thanks to the leadership of Chair Rep. Deaton , Appropriations Subcommittee Chair Rep. Chappell, and Ranking Minority Member Rep. Fogle, the proposed funding cut to day habilitation and self-directed services has been restored.

We’re grateful to the legislators who met with our members, listened, and worked to protect services that support Missourians with disabilities every day. If you’ve worked with these legislators or they represent your community, now is a great time to thank them for prioritizing disability services and workforce inclusion!

The budget process continues, but this is an encouraging moment—and one worth celebrating!

March likes to keep everyone guessing. One minute it feels like spring, the next minute winter tries to sneak back in, and sometimes we see all four seasons in a single afternoon.

But around Warren County Pathfinders, we’ve learned something important. The forecast may change, but our friends keep moving forward. Determination doesn’t take a snow day. Friendship doesn’t wait for sunshine. And joy has a way of showing up no matter what the weather decides to do.

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the abilities, talents, and incredible spirit of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Every day, our friends show us that challenges may come and go, but positivity, perseverance, and possibility are always in season.

Missouri weather may be unpredictable, but one thing isn’t.
Our friends bring the sunshine with them wherever they go.

Together, we keep paving the way to possABILITIES. ☀️
