Resident Spotlight for December Is Bill! ❤️

Bill was born and raised in Wright City, Missouri. This is also where Bill resided his whole life before moving to Oak Pointe. Many generations of his family lived and graduated from Wright City.
Bill held a management job at Premier for many years and built custom furniture. Bill was married to his lovely wife for 73 years. They got married in 1949. Bill has two sons. Bill and his wife went dancing every Sunday afternoon. Bill’s favorite activity at Oak Pointe is Happy Hour, he really enjoys all kinds of music. Bill loves the color Brown and his favorite food is Chinese. A fun fact about Bill is that he had his Pilot License and loved to fly. Bill is a wonderful part of our Oak Pointe family. We love having him here with us! ❤️❤️

FUN FACT FRIDAY!
Meet some of our lovely ladies and learn some interesting facts about them!

Starting at the left we have Virginia 💚Her fun fact is that When she was younger she made the family dinners. She really enjoyed making these meals and helping her parents out.

Next, we have Almedia’s fact💛. When she was younger, her and large family traveled and lived with her grandfather. Her whole childhood, her grandfather made sure that any property he rented had two places to live. She recalls this being a huge part of her life and loved having everyone together.

Sally ❤️ she said a fun fact and fun memory is when she went to California. She attended the Rose Bowl Parade with family. She said it was an amazing experience.

Dora 💖 is up next! Dora’s Husband built a Water Ski Boat, and she drove it for him while he skied. She says it was always a daring adventure. 60 years later, she sold it and it was remodeled and put into a “Vintage Boat Competition.” The person who bought it- sent her photos and keeps her updated.

Ann 💜 she grew up 5 miles away from Plymouth Rock. They visited this landmark many times growing up.
Lastly for today we have Marilyn. She Loves to go horseback riding, when younger she owned horses and went out riding on Sundays when nothing else was planned.
