Our Story
Churchill Family Counseling (CFC) began serving clients in Warren County during the fall of 2008 using a small shared office. Within a few months, the practice grew to become a full-time endeavor and within the next few years outgrew the original space. The first move occurred in October of 2011, when the practice grew to house 2 private offices and a waiting room. More growth occurred as CFC brought in three new counselors who brought varied backgrounds and areas of expertise, along with 2-3 graduate students, and expanded into additional office space. The new space provided a community room, wherein, CFC could begin to provide group services. Move number 3 took us to the north side of Warrenton and expanded our space to 5 offices along with additional counselors. And now finally (we have strict instructions from the people who have had to move one large desk to all these locations β no more moves!), we have moved into our newest location at 1428 N. Highway 47, Ste. C, in Warrenton, Missouri. The counselors at CFC bring varied fields of expertise and backgrounds to better serve the needs of our clients. CFC has worked closely with the community (Division of Family Services, Juvenile Office, Probation & Parole, Doctors, and Schools) to understand and better serve the needs of Warren County and the surrounding areas. Our group of counselors bring varied fields of expertise in working with individuals, families, teens, school age children, pre-school children, Employee Assistance Programs and utilizes a variety of approaches, cognitive/behavioral, experiential, play therapy and equine assisted psychotherapy. We are able to assist clients in issues, such as: marriage, family issues, parenting, career, anger management, grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, abuse/trauma, eating disorder, adoption/foster issues, developmental disabilities, at-risk children and teens, life changing events, self-actualization, health & wellness, crisis management.
